Burnout

2019

Placcc Festival production
#artinpublicspace #contemporarydance

I stop if you stop I stop if the city stops I stop if I dream !?
Maybe not even while sleeping…waking…waking
I need you to make me stop wherever I am, whenever I can
I don’t remember anymore

The dance piece was created partly in Budapest, partly in Cairo exploring the accelerated life rhythm and constantly growing phenomenon of burnout in the form of a public space dance performance.

We are interested in mental and physical exhaustion, loss of balance and the desperate need of connection to others in relation to a state that can be both very personal and representative in a society that struggles for its values.
